Children will be instructed in pencil initially, studying different ways to make lines, proportions and shading. They will also be taught how to use pastels, water colour, acrylic paint, printmaking and sculpture.

Subjects will range from cartoons, figures, still life and nature.

Soulful Selfies – Exploring Inner Landscapes Through Blind Contour Self-Portraits

Everyone has created a modern-day self-portrait—we call them selfies, often captured through the lens of our phones. But what are we truly capturing in these moments? An event? A relationship? An experience? A backdrop?

This class invites you to dive deeper, to turn the lens inward and explore your inner landscape. Through blind contour drawing and multimedia techniques, we’ll examine what a self-portrait might look like if it captured not just your external appearance but your emotions, thoughts, feelings, and wishes.
