What is the Leduc Art Walk?

If you love art, good food, music and shopping, you won’t want to miss this!

Art Walk is an annual community event that celebrates local artistry and creativity by bringing together a diverse group of artists, musicians, and the public. It’s an outdoor festival where artists of all experience levels—from beginners to seasoned professionals—showcase and sell their original, handcrafted works, including paintings, sculptures, pottery, jewelry, fibre arts, and more.

This vibrant event not only supports local talent but also welcomes artists from surrounding areas, creating an opportunity for “creative cross-pollination.” Attendees can enjoy live music, browse a wide variety of artistic styles, and even witness artists at work, providing a deeper connection to the creative process.

Art Walk is open to all, whether you’re an art enthusiast, a casual browser, or someone simply looking for a fun way to spend the day. Pets (on leashes) are also welcome to join the festivities, making it a fun, family-friendly event for everyone.

Beyond the art, the Art Walk features a Family Activity Centre, that’s free for everyone to visit on the day of the event. This vibrant, hands-on space offers fun and interactive experiences for attendees of all ages, with live art demonstrations and activities. It’s a place where different art factions meet, showcasing everything the Leduc Arts Foundry is about. Whether you're interested in painting, sculpture, fiber arts, or other creative media, you’ll have the chance to see, learn, and participate—making it a perfect spot for the whole family to get creative and inspired!

2024 Picnic Table Project

As a public art partnership between the Leduc Arts Foundry and the City of Leduc, six picnic tables were painted for the second year in a row by local artists. These tables will be utilized by the City of Leduc for public events!
