Rug Hooking for Beginners

Join us for a class that introduces you to the creative and timeless world of rug hooking. Guided by Prairie Harvest Rug Hooking School accredited instructor with over 20 years of experience, you’ll learn everything you need to start your rug hooking journey.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore:
The history of rug hooking
The tools required for the craft
Basic stitches to complete your chosen project
Dates: Tuesdays - October 15, 22, 29 and November 5
Time: 6:30 - 8:30
Location: The Foundry Downtown
Age Requirement: 12 and up! Adults are welcome
Fee: $200
What to Bring:
Notebook, pen, pencil, permanent marker, and scissors
Hoop and hook (available for rent)
If you don’t have a hoop or hook, no worries! We offer them for rent for $10/month with a $15 refundable deposit.
Kits Available:
Starter kits will be purchased directly from the instructor, ranging from $30 to $55. Selection and payment details will be sent to registrants at least 1 week before the first class.
